We know how hard it can be to step into a new church for the first time!
In fact, in many ways you've taken a courageous step in just checking out our website.
Thanks for taking that step.
We're glad you're here.
The Alliance Church of Cheektowaga is a church for the average family.
We don't have a dress code.
We're easy to get along with.
We welcome you as you are and hope to help you take positive steps on a journey designed to introduce you to Jesus Christ, help you develop a relationship with Him, and then become a mature, fully-devoted disciple of Christ.
We're all at various places on that journey too!
None of us have "made it."
We think that it's important to be part of a church where we can be ourselves and have someone help us on our journey to be mature, fully-devoted disciples of Christ.
We invite you to join us.
We're currently sharing space with Centerpointe Community Church
at 56 Burlington Ave. in Depew.
I'ts just off Walden. Turn at the light between Transit and Central.
We meet on Sunday evenings for two hours: 6PM-8PM.
This time is filled with about 30 minutes of musical worship,
a message from the Bible,
and a time to discuss the message in smaller groups.
The coffee is free!
(And we usually have some yummy goodies that someone brought in to share.)
You can wear whatever you feel is most appropriate to worship God in.
Some people may feel that should be "our finest."
If that's what you think, GREAT! Wear your finest.
Some people feel that we can come before the Lord just as we are and they like to wear jeans, shorts, slacks and their favorite t-shirt, sweater, or hoodie.
If that's you, GREAT! Wear what you're comfortable in.
We think it's more important that YOU'RE HERE, so come as you are!
We have a Nursery/Toddler Room for kids under 5 years old.
Everyone else meets in the main room. We think it's important for families to worship together. We have "Busy Boxes" for kids who might need some things to fidget with. They might be little distracting at first, but we want them to learn to worship God too and are willing to put up with a bit of distraction to help them learn how to do that.
Oh, by the way, a lot of people like to get together to talk before we begin our service. They usually come around 30 minutes early and stick around 30 minutes afterwards. You're welcome to join us for our causal "how was your week?" time.
We also have Life Groups which meet in people's homes throughout the week.
You can find out more about our Life Groups HERE.
